Friendship Cake

2 1 / 2 cup sugar
1 qt. Sliced ​​peaches with juice

2 - 9oz. jar maraschino cherries (drained)

1 box yellow cake mix
2 / 3 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 cup walnuts
1 small box French vanilla instant pudding mix

Combine all ingredients, mix and bake in a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
